DAMN, there are some haters on this board ;) ...Lakers better win tonight though, I think they gave up on #1 so they stopped playing

Waiz 04-10-2011 03:14 PM

Haters gone hate!

I don't think they will even try that hard tonight, after the run they put together after the All-Star break I'm not worried at all ;)

KingZee 04-10-2011 04:05 PM

Yeah, they got this in the bag.

dnasty370z 04-10-2011 06:50 PM

Against the Knicks? Nah. I can see NY winning but not sweeping the Heat. Also for all you western people, don't sleep on the Nuggets.

Heat are 3 Knicks are 6th

phelan 04-10-2011 07:04 PM

heat are 2 after faceraping the celtics today

if things stay the way they are it's
chicago - indiana
miami - philly
boston - new york
orlando - atlanta

then i predict chicago, miami, boston, and orlando.
chicago - orlando -> chicago
miami - boston -> boston

chicago - boston -> chicago

and whoever comes out of the east gets crapped on by whoever comes out of the west :tup:

Nuggets are ballin' without 'Mello for sure but I wouldn't put my money on them against two time champs come playoff pressure time.

phelan 04-11-2011 10:26 AM

nobody's sleeping on the nuggets, but the thunder can handle them.

-westbrook / harden / maynor are more than a match for lawson / afflalo / felton.

-KD over JR smith / wil chandler anyday. i'm ignoring gallo b/c he's useless.

-perkins and air congo (read: ibaka) provide more consistent inside presence than "OH MY KNEES!!!" kmart and "OMFG I STILL HAVE CLEAN SKIN MUST TATTOO NOWWWWW" birdman andersen.

-X-factor will be someone like al harrington, who will shoot you into or out of the game.

THE BEST PART OF THAT SERIES: having a little chuckle everytime an announcer goes "thunder nuggets". i find that hilarious. :rofl2:

lol two time champs come playoff pressure time...how about that 5 game losing streak, guys? there's no such thing as flipping switch...hell, my FRAIL BLAZERS can whup ur asses up and down the court right now. that's just sad.

Waiz 04-11-2011 02:17 PM

It's called veteran savy brocifer!

This close to the playoffs the smartest thing for the Lakers to do is take it a tad easy and wait for the playoffs. The NBA season is too long anyway!

for any other team that's true but not for the Lakers, they actually seem to be exactly like an on-off switch...After All-Star game - ON after last sunday's loss and SA win - OFF

lol we'll have to wait and see, I'm all for maximum effort all the time and hate it when they pull this crap but it seems like Phil doesn't give a sh*t and I've learned not to question his attitude over the years, seems to know what he's doing.

can't believe you're a Porkland fan :shakes head:
