For about 1 week. I'll be pissed if the Sox repeat last years 0-8.

That is the same way they started last year...what matter is October.

The Yankees are sucking too at the beginning like last year! :shakes head:

You have to let me enjoy this feeling. We all know it's not going to last :bowrofl:

Lemers 04-08-2012 04:56 PM

Another game the red sox couldn't close. :shakes head:

Lemers 04-09-2012 09:37 PM

Red Sox win first of the season behind a good no decision outing of their rookie starter.

shadoquad 04-09-2012 09:38 PM

Orioles handed their only loss of the 2012 season tonight.

MyZ4U2C 04-09-2012 09:39 PM

And the Yankees finally won a game as well! rough start for both teams

If the Orioles make the series, I'll buy you a ticket to a game :icon17:

But we both know the O's will be in the cellar by the All Star break.

Lemers 04-09-2012 09:54 PM

I'm gonna be moving to KC right before the All-star game. Tickets are expensive, but may be worth it. I haven't decided yet

I hear their bbq is awesome out that way, especially the ribs.

Lemers 04-09-2012 10:00 PM

I miss the Red Sox going to KC in May. Hopefully I can catch them in the 2013 season before I leave KC.

But in 2013 the 'Stros will be AL and since home is San Antonio I'll be seeing them there sometime in the future.

Lemers 04-10-2012 10:03 AM

I think it's kinda stupid for the marlins to suspend Ozzie for 5 games. They only did it to appease the Miami mod that we're about to financially crush the new stadium.

Ozzie was known to say stupid things in the past. Don't tell me the Marlins didn't know he has no filter on his mouth. Ozzie said similar statements while in Chicago but nobody cared.

Why don't the marlins fire the guy that thought it was a good idea to hire Ozzie?

Will Ozzie need to take sensitivity training while on suspension?

The marlins need to give Ozzie a list of topics he's not allowed to talk about.

Red Sox are killing me, I just keep reminding myself they always start slow. :shakes head: but losing 2 series in a row just hurts.

That's american league baseball at its best. Glorified softball:stirthepot:

MyZ4U2C 04-21-2012 10:39 PM

Man I was working all day and had just enough time to see the Yanks down 9-1 ...wish I could have watched this one... Yanks looking good!

Lemers 04-22-2012 09:50 AM

The Sox are pathetic right now. They can't even hold a 9 point lead

OH please....give me a break. :shakes head: Each league have their style and tricks of playing. That is the interesting part of the game!

Some managers in the AL manage like they are in the NL for example TB manager.

Lemers 04-22-2012 10:40 AM

I like the 2 leagues having different rules regarding the DH. I gives me a choice of style of baseball I want to watch.

Yeap and TB need to be slow down. Yankees are so and so....

koufax 04-30-2012 02:13 AM

Matt Kemp is the best player in baseball right now. That is all.

Lemers 05-07-2012 10:37 AM

OMFG this is gonna be a long season. The Red Sox GM better be looking for pitching right now!

Can't believe the Orioles are leading the AL East. :stirthepot:

Al, I know you was joking but never thought that the Orioles would be in 1st place in the AL East with Boston in last place  up to this point...

and the Yankees dancing in between. :shakes head:

Lemers 05-26-2012 09:41 PM

Boston is floating at .500. It is killing me.

They won last night and (oops) were winning today in top of the 9th. Orioles, TB and Toronto are losing.

NY is winning but the game is still in the 2nd inning.

The only way that Boston can win more than 1 in a row is by losing a bunch first. I don't think they've been above .500 this season

shadoquad 05-27-2012 05:17 PM

I'm very happy with the o's this season, but signs of decline are already emerging. I just want .500

:iagree:

Yankees are 2.5 behind and they are tied with TB.

Lemers 05-29-2012 11:08 PM

Six are above 500 for the 1st time this season.
