The Red Sox haven't really done much this offseason to field a winning team. Looks like a .500 year at best.

NYY no longer with biggest payroll....LA Dodgers and Toronto got 1st and 2nd this year.

You sure. LA 213M, NYY 210M, Toronto 115M. Looks like Phillies are third at 158M.

Not much difference between 1st and 2nd.

What a turn around for the dodgers going from almost Bankruptcy to biggest payroll. Hope they know what they're Doing over there in LA.

3M is a lot to us but in the context of 210 versus 213M, not so much. It's about 1.4% of the budget. Peanuts for these guys.
