A team in last place or close for the past 5 to 10 years? I would said is LUCKY season. Look at Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Texas, Detroit, Yankees, SF, TB, Angels, St. Louis, Boston, LA Dogers, etc. teams that on time or another have been consistent for few years, NOT 1 year. ;)

Until otherrwise they win the big game and continue for a few years and prove me wrong, Yes a call it LUCK!. Then I will give due were due is deserve.

NOTE: : The Baltimore Orioles have won the World Series three times: 1966 (Los Angeles Dodgers); 1970 (Cincinnati Reds); 1983 (Phillies).

Baseball seasons are too long to consider it luck.
