Brock Lesnar
So funny to watch him get out classed!:icon18:
He got beat up bad by Cain, I knew Brock couldn't hold up against a top heavyweight. Good job Cain Velasquez:tiphat: |
I was kinda hoping for it after he pushed that cop. He got DESTROYED haha
|
i was scared for cain after brock came out fast and he did that crazy flying knee but then when cain just took it kept landing really precise shots i knew the tide was turning... i liked when brocked was like backing up trying to recover and then tripped.. then cain was all over his ***..
he turtled up twice now in fights.... awesome for cain... but wow him vs JDS in the spring is gonna be some serious business... JDS is lethal man he has been on a tear aswell... destroyed werdum and not being able to finish nelson means nothing.. you probably couldnt knock roy out with a baseball bat but watch im calling it now brock will fight the winner of carwin/nelson in about may(ish) |
also must add.. even though it wasnt pretty or that entertaining... props to hamil for taking out tito... i love me some matt hamil
i think a good fight for him is someone like ryan bayder after john bones jones runs though him... that or the winner of griffen/franklin (altough rich beat him up pretty bad last time) tito really should retire now but no matter what dana says in the next year and a half or less you will see a chuck tito III for one last shot at some $ |
I'm glad for cain. I think he's both classy and talented. I've rooted for him in every fight so far. I hope brock learns something and comes back strong.
I agree that it was cool seeing Hammil beat up Ortiz like that. The Diego Sanchez fight was very entertaining. The Schaub fight was boring imo. I didn't think much of either fighter in that tilt. I thought the prelims were pretty good, and the pre-recorded ones, the Madsen fight and that sick anaconda choke, those were fun to watch. |
I too was glad to see Brock and Tito lose. Prelims had some great fights.
|
Carwin uncovered the fact that Brock doesn't like to get hit. In fact, Cain said that he was going to approach it like Carwin and lay leather to him. Carwin would have beat Brock had he not gassed. Cain is a Stud. Awesome fight and was happy for the results.
Disappointed in Jake Shields performance. I expected more from him. The card was ok, but the Cain/Brock fight made it worth the $55 IMO. |

even though i dont like Brock, I give him props for admitting his *** whoopin like a man and accepted it with no excuses.
|
Finally a heavyweight champ I can root for. Lesnar was completely outclassed. That cut on his cheek, ouch. Wonder how Cain would do against Carwin....
I was impressed with Brandon Schaub's striking against Gonzaga as well. Good quick clean hits that took Gonzaga off his game. |
If Brock made it to the Bell the Dr. would have stopped it due to that cut it was a nasty one that Brock could not recover from. If Brock had stuck to the Couture plan he could have won, goes to show a bigger stronger guys does not always win. Brock will be a smarter better fighter as a result of this loss, I hate him and like him at the same time.

:ohsnap1:
brock bout got that *** whipped twice in one night lol YouTube - WWE's Undertaker, Brock Lesnar Exchange Words Following UFC 121 |
Haha I am glad Lesnar got his azz whooped. I am ready for some real heavyweight mma fighters in the ring. Lesnar will learn from this fight and will learn the techniques of mma. Good luck to both.
|
undertaker @ lesner "wanna do it" hahaha priceless

im a huge undertaker fan i can remember seeing him on my 14th Bday and getting this foam tombstone.... i was so intrigued by this i did some research and read up on a few wrestling sites and blogs... according to them: it seems that the "wanna do it"... wasnt like you want to fight right now... it was a taunt to take WWE up on a rumored offer to headline against him at next years wrestlemania.... turns out they do have real life beef over brock choosing to quit the WWE for the NFL right as he was supposed to go and do a bunch of house shows(non televised events for non wrestling fans) against the undertaker in order to build up takers character in an upcoming fued.... so yeah looks like WWE wants to offer brock a **** load of $ for 1 more match against undertaker which could be takers retirement match but yeah im sure brock didnt appreciate the timing of the proposal with his face split half open and doing to walk of shame back to the locker room |
UFC is less physical than WWE. In UFC, most of the physical punishment is training for the fight. And then you're only at serious risk for, what, a few seconds to a MAX of 25 minutes (in a title bout that goes the distance).
In WWE, it's phony, but those guys get slammed and thrown and jump off of railings, etc, etc... It's physically taxing. And they do several shows a month, with some matches lasting a half hour or more. |

the thing with brock is that he's really not all that talented or skillful. he made it so far because he has an amazing combination of strength, speed, and agility. but his technique is very flawed. he lacks any stand up striking ability, and he doesn't know much grappling on the ground. specifically, if he ends up in the bottom he just has no clue what to do. and he knows next to nothing about submissions. really, if it wasn't for his physical strength and athleticism, and the fame he gained from WWE, he would have been a nobody in MMA. And to think people actually believed he can defeat fedor

i agree no way it can be boring look at their last handful of fights each... this is one of the best possible match ups you are gonna see this year... just got to wait for JDS to smash lesnar this spring first.... |

dos santos is basically risking is #1 conteder slot... but he said he didnt want to wait on cain to heal so thats why he took the the coach gig just looked..the match is slated for UFC 131 in june... that means best case he would fight cain maybe Oct-Nov ish |
Oh Ok. I heard about the shoulder surgery. Didn't know how long it was going to take. I'd love to see Brock get killed again. He'll probably retire this time around.

i dont think you have to worry about him loosing again... i think JDS will beat him as bad or worse than cain if thats possible.... his flaw has been exposed thanks the carwin who gave everyone the blueprint.... out of all the heavy weights brock could have fought next... JDS has got to be the worst match up for him... go back and watch the JDS vs Werdum thats gonna be how it takes brock out in june! |
I agree with that. But I didn't want to see Brock and Mir again just yet. What ever happend to Tim Sliva since he had his arm broke? That's been quite awhile since that happened.
