the thing with brock is that he's really not all that talented or skillful. he made it so far because he has an amazing combination of strength, speed, and agility. but his technique is very flawed. he lacks any stand up striking ability, and he doesn't know much grappling on the ground. specifically, if he ends up in the bottom he just has no clue what to do. and he knows next to nothing about submissions. really, if it wasn't for his physical strength and athleticism, and the fame he gained from WWE, he would have been a nobody in MMA. I wouldn't say he wouldn't have made it anywhere in MMA. His strength, speed, and athleticism more than make up for any flaws that anyone but a very high level heavyweight could expose. He would still have made it to the UFC. There's not a single amateur or out there who he wouldn't have plowed straight through.
