I just want to say this before the season kicks off:

No matter what happens this year, I'm happy after last year. Obviously, I want The Saints to go 16-0 & win every game by 50, but I never thought I'd see a Lombardi Trophy in New Orleans in my lifetime.

& with that said, GEAUX SAINTS!!!

The Saints have a good chance to repeat. Vikings and Packers look really good also.

I haven't been following preseason news or stats, but I hope this season isn't disappointing. I root for the Vikes because I live here, but I'm a diehard Steelers fan.

I really can't stand the hype because everyone thought the team deserved the win after the hurricane. BFG... in that case, the Vikes should win because of every blizzard (aka act of God natural storm).... :roflpuke2:

I'm not trying to turn this into a pity party, but blizzards don't put cars in trees & fill your house with hazardous waste that runs off from canals.

The Saints won last year because they were well-run (finally) & played fantastically. The Super Bowl win was a nice distraction from the on-going recovery from that storm, but it wasn't a "deserved" thing.

Game time! Maybe if we're lucky, both teams have major injuries and finish the season with a losing record. :D

Last night's game was boring.

I agree. Favre should have easily been able to make another touchdown but he just didn't really show up.

I got stuck in a three hour traffic jam on the interstate & missed most of the game. I at least got to listen.

Facepalm why? Being ranked in the middle of the league, in terms of offense, is not a good thing. Sure their defense is amazing, and while defense wins championships... Flacco has a lot of things to do before they're back to "superbowl status". (even though this probably doesn't make sense because superbowl xxxv was dominated by the ravens defense)
