Best round I shot so far on 9 holes is 45 par was 38 or 39, I have played off and on for 4 years and just started playing more last year when I got some decent clubs....
Picked up a new set of Irons last year Burner 1.0's on sale and a Ping Anser putter...... Then for Christmas got the R-11 driver and burner superfast 4w hybrid... I just started back up last year like I said and maybe went out 20 times.... plan on going out this year a lot more and actually being in a leauge.... And when I go visit some friends over seas I will play a round at Old Thorns in southern England. Cant wait for nicer weather DAN

Necro-thread!
The Master's is coming up, I can't wait, so I figured we should bring the golf thread back. Also, found this video today: Good to see today's young pro's interacting with everyday people and having a good time. |

Started playing when I was about 10 years old. In my peak I was about a 5, now probably around a 15. Its hard to get out with long winters and law school :-( I'm a Ping guy all the way except for my Cleavland wedges

I regret not playing in HS. It's so much fun, at least when you can get a good group to go out. That's tough nowadays for me.
Just had my first lesson last Sat. to fix my slice, but once that's done and I'm consistent I'm getting a new set of clubs for Xmas - Summer will be testing each brand to see what feels best. |

There are so many great choices in clubs out there nowadays it is hard to decide. I have a Taylormade R1 TP on order right now...can't wait! |

I'd like to just get rid of it completely - I just want to hit the ball straight. Even my irons have a bit of a fade, but I can somewhat cope with it, for the most part they are pretty straight - it's just the woods/hybrid. |

Damn how did i miss this thread. Other than the love of the z I'm a huge golfer. Anyways just got a new set rocketbladez 4-pw/rocketballs stage 2 4H-3H/ ztp sand wedge and a rocketballs adjustable driver. Was cursed with the slice but it was because I wanted to smash the ball. Slowed down my swing and my shot shape is much more controllable.

Right now I have an R11 driver (1st gen) and TaylorMade Firesole woods/irons, with a TaylorMade Rescue club in the mix.
I had some old Cobra's, but control was the same as my Dad's old Firesole's, but I got more distance with the graphite bubble shaft, so I went with those. However, they're almost fifteen years old now (have only been playing with them for about a year and a half) and it's time for something new. |
