Tough yes, and lucky that Carwin has no conditioning. Brock has a lot of standup and defense to work on. I knew once he got carwin on his back it was over once the onslaught was over.

i completely lost my voice screaming at the TV.. i was on my knees on the floor right in front of the TV during that first round.... going crazy for carwin... i knew as soon as he didnt close the deal he wouldnt get that chance again

man im all about cain valesquez too but i dont think he is big enough to take lesnar out he looked good agiasnt nog but if you go back to the kongo fight kongo knocked him down a few times on the stand up and it wasnt until the ground when he won the fight.... if carwins flurry didnt finish him off i dunno what he can do... although valesquez has alot better cardio.... i would say out of the UFC roster Junoir Dos Santos who is also gonne be smaller... is the only hope left..... might have to bring in by boy Overeem to knee lesnar in the face but he doesnt have that great of a chin...

Carwin was totally trying to finish it in the first round, like every other fight he's been in. I told my friends that Brock's strategy could possibly be to let Shane wear himself out in round one, since Lesnar's got good cardio and can go the distance.

I was shocked that it ended in a submission, though.

Boo. Was so disappointed to Shane waste so many punches. That energy could have been better spent on well timed defense penetrating blows. Anyway....Junior Dos Santos stands a better chance of beating Lesnar than Cain.

Jr. has no chance what so ever, he will get pounded into the mat.

Bring on Big Country!

Just joking Fedor or Overeem will beat him.

I honestly think Carwin does have the tools to take out Lesnar. He just didn't have the right gameplan for the fight. Not to mention he thought he had enough room to be okay on the ground when Brock was working toward a submission. Note to Carwin: You are NEVER okay when you're on your back with Brock in the ring.

Fedor would have a better chance than Overeem, although it seems that when (not if) Brock gets it to the mat, it's all over. I'm not sure Overeem could pass the drug test to even fight.. haha.
