Correct me if i'm wrong but I think it all depends on where you pick up your dribble. But i don't know NBA always changes it's rules to cater to their superstars.

If I was reffing I'd call that a travel...but who knows? I think even the fans were a bit stunned bc they had no clue what to think and were expecting a whistle...lol

What Lebron did was legal guys. Taken from the NBA rules

"An offensive player may end his dribble by alighting off of one foot and landing simultaneously on both feet...Note that at this point, the player may not pivot; if he lifts either foot, the ball must be released prior to that foot returning to the floor."

This is an all too familiar scenario that the spurs are in right now...im talking about 2008 western conference semis against the hornets. Yeah we went down 2-0 and then beat them in 7. I say we beat the Suns in 6 and then the Lakers in 7.

And, are you forgeting how many rings we have in recent history??

This is just what im thinking.

I respect TD's game, but dude, that guy is OLD. The only reason they're still sort of hanging around is the sudden resurgence of Tony Parker, who had extended rest due to injury in the late part of the second season.

TD has had sporadic games where he shows "he's still got it", but the next outing he just looks tired.

In fact, it's really sad to see all of the game's greats age. No more Kobe, Timmy, Garnett, Pierce...well, actually, Pierce is a f*cking c*nt douchebag and not a basketball great, never mind.

Red370 05-08-2010 09:34 AM

so basically the Celtics were shat upon last night, KJ was ice cold. And what he said in the interview was right, they started the game with a sense of urgency, which is more than theyve done all season, hence the dismantling that took place.

wishihadnav 05-09-2010 05:09 PM

Go lakers!

wishihadnav 05-09-2010 05:32 PM

Hmmm 2-2 boston...what will happen??..haha

ct63084 05-09-2010 05:51 PM

Damn lebron had an awesome game on game 3 but on game 4 he disappeared on the 4th seemed like he didn't want the ball at the end and just gave up.

Nubz 05-09-2010 05:56 PM

Go magic!!

wishihadnav 05-10-2010 11:34 AM

time for utah to go on a fishin trip..haha

wishihadnav 05-11-2010 11:35 AM

come on boston!

ct63084 05-11-2010 02:54 PM

There's rumor that lebron will guard rondo. If he is going to guard him full time, i think might be a bad choice all depending if paul pierce shows up. Plus it's also a bad idea to for your best scorer to guard the best player on the other team, lot's of things could go wrong foul trouble, fatigue and mismatch problems who the hell is going to guard pierce and allen mo williams?

wishihadnav 05-11-2010 03:04 PM

^^i agree..besides lebron cant stay in front of rondo..he's much too quick..rondo will end up dishin it to pierce n allen all day long...another Boston victory..lol.

wishihadnav 05-11-2010 06:21 PM

were all the Laker haters at???..hahah

molamann 05-11-2010 09:23 PM

Looks like Celtics are gonna take one on the road.

ct63084 05-11-2010 09:55 PM

Man the Cavs are getting raped right now, by an old *** celtic team. Wow this has got to be one of the worst performance ever for a MVP on a playoff game 3-14. This is one of the reason why I can't put lebron over kobe, sure lebron can put up some crazy stats but when it comes down to it win or lose kobe will try to scratch his way out. Lebron pretty much gave up 9 mins left through the 4th. Never in hell MJ would do this on the playoff on his MVP season.

wishihadnav 05-11-2010 11:55 PM

Until lebron wins a ring....kobe>lebron..all day everyday...haha!..clevland looks good on paper but that's about it...lol.

They still have a chance to win it, it's just that i can't see them beating the magic even if they beat boston. Lebron offense consist of driving in the lane and wait till defense collapse on him and pass. Uses his Jumpshot when D is sagging off of him. His J has improved but still not reliable, and he really needs to stop jacking three's. Combine that with nba touch fouls then yes lebron is a beast. But a great defensive team that can rotate with no problem in defense will give him problems and a good big man that can block shots ie spurs(duncan), magic (howard),celtics(KG). With this guys down low Lebron is having a hard time driving in. This will cause on the defense not collapsin as much leading to low assist numbers and lebron relying on his jumpshot which is sometimes he get's hot but most of the time it's very unreliable.

Now i'm reading through this post right now and I don't know how the hell MJ won 6 championship without a great bigman?

phelan 05-12-2010 10:50 AM

hahahahahaha lebron just shat his pants in game 5

wishihadnav 05-12-2010 12:34 PM

lebrons going down in six..haha.

zman1910 05-12-2010 03:27 PM

I'm sorry but anyone who has been watching the Cavs/Celts series will notice that the Celtics defense hasn't changed one bit. So this excuse that Lebron can't penetrate the defense is silly and a bunch of bull. Either Lebron is about to have the great comeback of the playoffs so far or he is preparing Cleveland for his departure. In all of the games they lost Lebron hasn't been doing anything but shooting ill advised jumpshots and creating turnovers. Lebron was wide open last night on the side and opted to shoot a jumpshot instead of driving in for the easy 2. Frankly I've never seen Lebron play a jumpshot game when they are down by so many points in a pivotal game 5.

On the plus side...if he continues his passiveness...I'm getting season tickets over here in NY next year

:iagree: He looked pretty awful back there. I hope he goes to NY.

gauchowr 05-12-2010 03:30 PM

My bet is that the Lakers and Magic go to the finals. Lakers will take it with their finals experience from last year and their veteran players.

Tresfr 05-12-2010 03:41 PM

Better Players ?

I keep hearing from the sports commentators that cleveland has better players and a better team than Boston. I just don't get that analogy

Lebron>Pierce
Rondo>Williams
Allan>Parker
Garnett>Jamison
Perkins>Oneal ( This could be argued but think of the mobility and help defense perkins can provide over shaq who is a liability. He shoots over 60% so Perkins is never an offensive liability. He does what a center should and Shaq can no longer do

Celtics Bench>Cleveland
Davis,Wallace, T. Allen VS West,Verajo,Moon

Lebron needs to be phonomenal to beat the Celtics who dispite what TNT and the rest say have the better team.

labk888 05-12-2010 04:06 PM

Lakers FTW!!!

phelan 05-12-2010 05:37 PM

well for once i agree with paul pierce. the entire celtics team, down to rasheed wallace, is capable of going berserk at any moment in time. paul pierce, ray allen, kevin garnett, rasheed (god i'm throwing up in my mouth as i type this), rajon rondo (IS THE MAN ON THIS TEAM!)...

cavaliers, while they've signed some big names, is still lebron, lebron, and more lebron. why? because mike brown is a ******* coach who doesn't know how to run an offense. his under-utilization of antawn jamison will forever haunt him if the cavs fall. varejao and parker are not effective offensive threats, etc.

granted, mo williams went supernova ONCE...but is one of the greatest chokers in playoff history. and don't expect shaq to carry a team anymore...unless it's a donut shop team.

i actually want this to be over with, and the celtics move on to the magic. they need something left in the tank to bloody the magic with, or else it'll be a fast series.

in other news: super-excited for the suns lakers series :excited:

wishihadnav 05-12-2010 06:40 PM

Lebron is FAIL..hahaha!!

ct63084 05-13-2010 10:05 PM

What about the 19 rebounds and 10 assists? Hardly a "bad" performance imo.

With 9 TO it pretty much cancel each other out, each TO on the 4th was momentum changing. Also shooting .77 point per shot taken. That to me was a bad game for him. Also he shot 38 percent.

his turnovers led to a score every time but one, cancel those out and Cavs win by 7.

Yes TO in Basketball is huge, especially when it leads to a score for the other team. To me any player with 3-4 TO I consider it a bad game, but 9 TO is hard to do that's how bad it was. Just try try to play a pick up game and try to do 9 TO while acting like your playing hard and not making it obvious, it's pretty damn hard.
