Winning series against three powerful rivals

The current World Champions have opened the 2010 season winning the first set of series against three powerful rivals: Boston, Tampa Bay and the Angels.

GO YANKEES!!!

Yanks are much stronger than last year.

This is the first time in awhile that I remember the Yanks starting the season well. Does not bode well for the rest of the division. Red Sox look awful, Ortiz is finished, too bad I love Big Papi.

is it me, or does watching baseball on tv have the same appeal as watching grass grow?

Im serious. I highly doubt they will have as many wins this season....especially with Vazquez in the rotation. He gets destroyed every time hes out there.

I will only watch if the Yankees are playing and off course the playoffs and World Series.

Games are lasting almost 3 hrs, so don't have all the time to sit around.

They need to play some damn baseball! :shakes head:

Baseball has to be the most boring **** to watch period... I dont mind going out n swinging a bat for a few hours but seriously... 85% of a baseball game is nothing but menacing glances / *** pats / and chewing gum in slo-mo...

If only they televised JUST the moments when the ball is in motion - baseball would be awesome fun to watch... and you could watch like 10 games all at once...

blue660r01 04-16-2010 06:57 PM

You know whats boring? NASCAR

soCo 04-16-2010 08:33 PM

Boston definitely isn't as good as they were last year, neither is the Angels. Understand the rivalry thing but just sayin.

I hope Toronto stays on top. Nobody would expect that.

Oh, go Phillies, go A's.

Hopefully the Yankees straighted out the Vazquez situation.....then the Yankees will deff be repeating champs :D

Oh, go Phillies, go A's.

But Boston invested in getting a 3rd Baseman for Lowell even that they kept him and also good catcher in Victor Martinez for the aging Captain Variteka. Which to me was a good move, Plus shortstop Scutaro.

So they did some good investment. There bullpen is pretty good too, so I don't see an excuse and saying the Yankees are buying championships.

Its called jealously

Still feeling that? Yankees are champs this year, no question. Javier is a great pitcher, patience................
