there are 12 conferences out there so take the winner of each, then take the 4 highest ranked teams in the top 25 that did not win their conference and

there are 12 conferences out there so take the winner of each, then take the 4 highest ranked teams in the top 25 that did not win their conference and throw them in there and there you have your playoff. in a year like this one there could be 4 teams from just the SEC, talk about lopsided.
