Meh, I can't stand Alonso for some reason, a deserved win though.

I like how the scores are now, should keep things hot for the final race here in Abu Dhabi :D

Curious, are you perhaps a ferrari fan?

I wouldn't be surprised if red bull detuned his engine to let Webber get by without any incidences. Vettel did seem pretty panicked on the radio, but you never know. How else would a failing engine then get him his personal best the next lap?

G37Sam 09-12-2010 09:17 PM

I was thinking maybe it was a whole sketch setup by RedBull to make it not look like a team order, learning from Ferrari's mistakes lol

If it was a team order then the whole winning pit strategy to get him back in front of Webber wouldn't have happened toward the race end.

I think they were hoping that by letting Webber pass Vettel, Webber would gain up a few more positions, too bad that didn't happen. When Webber entered the pits it didn't work out for him well and he still ended up behind Vettel and Rosberg. Didn't drivers have to enter the pits at least once during the race? That was why Vettel left it till last lap I believe, otherwise he would've just finished the race without replacing his tires

That was a pretty good race. Sort-of strange that Heikki dodged the pit and put his own fire out.

wilsonp 09-26-2010 03:11 PM

The pit is full of flammable liquids and people - better to avoid bringing in a flaming car.

sig11 09-26-2010 03:24 PM

It's also full of firemen and fire extinguishers...
