FP 3 top 10
1 Sainz (Ferrari) 1m30.824s 2 Alonso (Aston Martin) +0.141s 3 Verstappen (Red Bull) +0.238s 4 Leclerc (Ferrari) +0.270s 5 Norris (McLaren) +0.294s 6 Russell (Mercedes) +0.366s 7 Piastri (McLaren) +0.386s 8 Perez (Red Bull) +0.424s 9 Hulkenberg (Haas) +0.454s 10 Stroll (Aston Martin) +0.572s going to be interesting for the pole. RB - has not been number 1 in any practice. Qual going to be fun to watch |
Qualifying is 11AM ET on ESPN.
|
Qualifying was interesting
1 Verstappen (Red Bull) 2 Leclerc (Ferrari) 3 Russell (Mercedes) 4 Sainz (Ferrari) 5 Perez (Red Bull) 6 Alonso (Aston Martin) 7 Norris (McLaren) 8 Piastri (McLaren) 9 Hamilton (Mercedes) 10 Hulkenberg (Haas) Hope the race is tomorrow |
The gap from VER to the rest of the qualifiers suggests more of 2023. The race for 2-6 might be entertaining, but I think the 2024 WDC has already been decided.
|
It appears Mercedes is prioritizing George over Lewis now, or am I jumping to conclusions?
I mean, it wouldn’t be surprising since Lewis is a lame duck, so to speak |

Lewis was on top yesterday, wasn't his day today... Let's see how the race goes... |

The concern for me is race pace... which might mean the more for Max. It will be interesting to see how it plays out Saturday.... |

HAAS is in the top ten on the grid. I wonder if they can keep it there and not use up the tires. |
