Early on, but looks like the cars will be capable of closer racing this year, so well done.

In other news, Ferrari weren’t their own worst enemies this time. Fast pit stops, aggressive strategy, didn’t fall apart when Red Bull threw the late race pit stops at them. For sure, luck played a lot into their result today, but in prior years (say 2019 and before) they would have screwed up strategy long before this an issue.

Also, consider that Ferrari spent a lot of money last year on the car. They came out with a good package, and have thrown down the gauntlet. Cost caps might become an issue later in the season!

Actually, not just the works car, but excellent results from all Ferrari powered cars today.

Good to see George do so well. That was a long time coming. Bottas and MAG must be happy. And Zhou ought to be thrilled. Compare that to Mazepin’s first race, which lasted 1 corner.

Speaking of Mazepin, I hope he was watching!

Who was that dippy woman interviewer in the pits after the race, dressed as, I don’t know what, and without a single question worth airtime? Can you say ‘token”? Too bad, because there are so many really good women who could have been in that place.

Not sure of her name, though she was better utilized during the practice sessions. Hard to get a question in when two ex-champs are talking technical back and forth. I’m glad they are getting more diverse across the board. It’s a world sport. Don’t hate on her for working the opportunities given to her.

No, don't put words in my mouth. I question her qualifications to report on F1.

I hated that every time she opened her mouth, useless drivel came out.

I don't care if they use a 3-legged aboriginee dyke in native dress with the face of a witch, who self -identifies as an aircraft carrier, as long as they have intelligent questions to ask.

It was very much like the guys tried to keep her from making a fool of herself for most of the time she was on-camera.

So I am willing to over look and forgive the token and other insensitive remarks. There are other women commentators that report on Sky 1 and so she is not a token. She however, is the only race car driver of the women on Sky 1. I thought her pre race commentary was pretty good for a rookie working with experienced commentators which F1 drivers and champions. I did not get to see the post race interviews. I think her dress was very age appropriate and I bet many young F1 fans saw it as refreshing. If we are going to criticize her interview question and her commentary, I thought Martin Brundel's was horrible when he took over for Will Buxtin. His grid walks were the worst. He has gotten much better over time.

When I am critiquing someone's who is getting an opportunity I recall my own experiences and who well I did or did not do. What they wear, gender or race has no bearing.

Hell, my last experience was taking instruction at a car control class from a professional racecar driver who has been a factory driver for a couple of major manufactures including Ford. He coaches IMSA and other drivers and does racecar setups and data analysis for various professional teams. You talk about intimidating!!!! Yeah, my competence was on display. Humility was overflowing, because I am instructor too, LMAO.

All this to say, getting a break on the big stage with those that do it all the time and you are different, ain't easy. I have lived that for most of my life. All anyone wants is a chance to be a success or not. Let's give her a chance. Rant over!!!

She is a racer unlike Natalie Pinkham. She does and has raced in a variety of series. I found her easy to listen to. Her Wiki data. There are far worse presenters we see in the F1 series.

She was wearing a short, pleated blue dress. That’s all. And she looked damn good in it too!

Different look than the pants other women interviewers are usually wearing. Nothing crazy, just not the usual.
