FP1 summary
So that's the first 2022 Formula 1 practice session done.

Here's what happened in Bahrain FP1:

Gasly fastest on the soft tyres
Ferrari second and third on the mediums
Verstappen fifth with early best effort
Bodywork fires off Ocon's Alpine
Bottas completes just two laps

Cars look great in motion. Heavy bias from me has the Ferraris looking the coolest of all 2022 cars. :yum:

Glad to see the Boys in Red both carry speed and consistency throughout P1 and P2. Nice to see Gasly showing out and continue to let everyone know he’s not out there to play, but to win.

Hamilton has to be pulling his usual public radio complaints and sandbagging, right?

Excited to see how this all transitions to the real deal come qualifying and race day. :driving:

Yeah some games being played until tomorrow. Excited for the season to start, I hope Ferrari is competitive would love to see 3 teams battling it out this year.

Well, that was exciting.

For everyone who said that Bottas was a crap driver in a fast car, well, I guess he showed them a thing or two!

Great to see a lot of teams figuring out the cars, and it won’t take Mercedes long to work out the porposing and be back in the top again. Hopefully, Lewis and George still have a few teeth left by then!

Looking forward to lights out tomorrow!

Oh, and my ARR jacket is back proudly right-side-out.

Love the talk out of the Boys in Red “car was hard to handle and I struggled, but hard to complain with P1/P3” hahahha

Ferrari PUs putting in work across the grid and it hopefully leads to more race battles. More teams being competitive means better racing!

Tomorrow’s race should be fun. The drama is already being written with today's results.

Bottas should be at RedBull lol. He did proud today. The guy just has the knack to be fast in qualy. Racing is a bit tougher but he has double digit wins. He aint no 'slouch' LOL
