As much as I agree with the "I'm sick of Mercedes spending more money and winning all the time" sentiment, the last thing I want to see in F1 is spending restrictions. Stifling innovation and R&D to make the cars more bunched up on race day is absolutely not what I want from F1. The competition needs to be there, of course, but I don't want to see the best team/car on the track having to restrict or de-tune so that other teams can keep up
