The good news is that it may bring some action and excitement to the normally boring Lewis Hamilton parade. Maybe it will be a race to watch. If it rains that is.

Well it all gets started tomorrow. The high is to be around 66' with a 70% chance of rain and for Saturday you have a 60% chance of rain with the high to be 68' Good news is that for Sunday Race Day, the chance of rain has came down with only a 10% chance with the high to be 69' and even a chance for the Sun to come out. What ever the hell that is since we have not seen it in such a long time.

I attended the first Grand Prix at COTA. Love the track, but getting to and from it was a nightmare. Wait in line forever in Austin for a bus and the same returning. I guess maybe I was spoiled by Montreal where you get on the Metro and in no time you're at the track. Since they have beer vendors you don't even need to stand in line for a beer.

Well I think the Championship is over before the Race even started. Vettel, the Ferrari driver has a three-place grid penalty for failing to slow down sufficiently under red-flag conditions in Friday’s Free Practice 1 session. But Mercedes boss Toto Wolff admitted he would rather such factors did not come into play for Sunday's potential title showdown. "It’s difficult because there was a decision that I thought was a bit harsh against Esteban last weekend and it sets a precedent," he commented before Vettel's penalty was confirmed. "And for the championship, obviously it’s not good if Sebastian would get a penalty - we’d rather have him there and put on a great show."

That sounds much better. I know people like wet races, but in person they completely suck. I've been to many wet Grand Prix in Montreal and was miserable every time, no matter how exciting the race was. Everything turns to mud. As disgusting porta-pottys normally are, throw in a couple inches of slippery mud and you get the idea.

My man finally won another race! Kimi's been my favorite driver ever since his Sauber days. My girlfriend even named her cat Kimi. Great result. Championship goes to Mexico.
