Both of the Haas guys, as well as others, got hosed because of the absolute time limits. |

Just watched the race, I thought it was pretty good, haas had a good finish and it was a good battle towards the end between Hamilton and vettel.

I could see how the new qualifying rules could have been interesting. Sucks that it just turned into clock watching. I don't have any sympathy for Haas or any other teams in qualifying. It's not like the rules weren't clear - it's all about the timing. Just a steep learning curve as one of the guys mentioned. But I tend to agree with those that argue it's more unsafe with everyone forced to run early now.
I found it interesting that the Alonso/Gutierrez wreck seemed to have a direct impact on the final Haas placing. Grosjean was one of the few cars still out that hadn't yet pit at the time of the wreck. Since he was able to change tires under the red flag, he got to continue to run up in 6th place for the remainder of the race. Congrats to the team for a great start to the season  |
Totally enjoyed this race as it wasnt decided in qualifying like most last year. Congrats to Haas for grabbing some points early on.
Looks like it might be a touch tighter upfront between Mercedes and Ferrari. Lets see how Mclaren develop as well. |
