Well I ordered my first mod for the car today. Called Tony over at F.I. and placed an order for the carbon fiber CBE with 12" resonators. Now to just play the waiting game lol.

Yea Im stoked about getting it. Tony said he should have it ready towards the end of November, thats not to long away. Did you install yours yourself Worm? I plan on doing it myself but I only know one person that has a lift and he may be busy in November. Anyone around BR have a shop or know of a place that I should look into in regards to getting the exhaust/future mods installed?

Yay i finally installed my FI catback today. It took me 4 hours with just hand tools and a stupid tall floor jack. It would have been way faster but i had to use the jack that comes with the car. Had to lift it high enough with the crap jack just to get the good floor jack under the damn car. So yeah, lifting the car taking off stock CBE and installing the FI one and dropping the car back to earth (still had to use both jacks). Plus i had to try and find where my tire was leaking air. That all together plus a fast lunch break in there, right at 4 hours.

You're a brave man. No way would I get under my car with nothing but one or two of those jacks to hold it up. So how does the non-resonated sound? Are you getting much drone? Did you end up cleaning it out or just letting the oil burn out? |

It's deeper, but when it has warmed up it doesn't seem that much louder than my stocker. For some reason the stock catback i got from punk was super loud compared to any other stocker i've any heard.

Honestly, mine doesn't seem that much louder either. It just has a really deep tone to it now. For me, it's perfect. I don't want something that's crazy loud.
