I've been to L.A. and southern California a few times and it's always fun. I'm always going for car stuff and events so maybe that is why it's a good time. Definitely a culture shock when you compare it to Baton Rouge.

Well I took the plunge i have the 370 from carmax. It's overall in great shape. I do feel i get acessive vibration to the stick. And when im in S mode at higher RPMs and i switch to neutral, it sometimes picks up a lower gear and the rpms shoot to redline.
do any of you guys experience this

I get a vibration in the shifter, but i wouldnt call it excessive...

How fast are you going and in which gear when you put it in neutral?

There is a position sensor on the shifter for use with SynchroRev (S mode). If you move the shifter too close to a lower gear, then yes, the engine will rev up anticipating a downshift. It's perfectly normal. Gently put it into neutral and don't wiggle it thereafter. See if that solves your problem. I can't think of a situation where you'd need to go straight into neutral from high revs anyhow. If you needed to slow down you can brake while it's in gear, downshift, repeat (don't do this when not in S mode).

BTW all, I'll probably be in attendance at the upcoming meet. Looking forward to meeting everyone.

Thanks for the input. That's what I expected. I don't normally, I'm just putting the car through the ringers, sort of tinkering with it.

That is how the S mode works... you'll get used to it when you drive more. That was one of the first things that I noticed, if you play with it, it will shoot to redline.

It also watches your speed, clutch, brake and throttle inputs. So if you are going to slow down, push the clutch in, put it in neutral and let out of the clutch and the revs should drop down.

How do you like it so far? Man I love blue. :-D
