Just relocated to little rock arkansas. Any enthusiats out here that get together once in a while?

I am in Fayetteville for school up at the University of Arkansas. I am from Little Rock so i go down every now and again. We have been trying to get a meet together but it has never actually happened.

Well we need to get something going. It would be nice to go on a cruise every now and then regardless of it bieng through town or up in the country hills.

I would definitely be down for that. There are some nice local roads as well out on highway 10 in Little Rock.

Hopefully some more Arkansas Zs hop in this thread so we can get something scheduled.

I'm down. I just moved here about 10 days ago from texas. so I wouldn't mind driving some of the nice local roads out here. The only ones i usually drive and know are the ones that take you through and around town which are 30, 630, 430, and a bit of 67 north. Just to get to places locally.

I will be back down in the little rock area the weekend of the 28th
We could try to get something scheduled that weekend. Hopefully we can get a bigger group than two lol

That would be nice. I have seen a couple z's. All sorts of years, But don't know if they are forum members or even care about what they are driving. Lol

Haha yeah, I don't think they care about what they are driving. I try to wave to every Z I pass and very rarely get a wave back. There is a member in maumelle who drives a grey nismo with a red drivers side fender stripe.

Yeah I saw a dude with I think a 280z who was weaving in and out of traffic behind me catching up to me during traffic hours. I wasn't speeding, He prolly wanted to tell me something but his exit came up before and I saw him exit. I couldnt slow down there were cars behind me.

I'm definitely interested, we do need to get something local going. I live in mayflower. I have a buddy in Clinton that has a 300zx twin turbo with some minor mods that might come down for it. Four is better than two but we need to get the word out.

Also where I work, a golf course with apartments around it, there is a 350z nismo and a 370 that live here. If we got a date and time I could put a note or something on their cars. I dont know just a thought.

I can't help with a route and food I don't know my way around LR too well let alone find a good driving road. As for the food im not picky.

Hey guys sorry i havent checked the thread in a little while. Local roads around LR, i would say highway 10, i dont recall it being a lot of twisties but it is a very nice road. As far as food, there are all sorts of restaurants along highway 10. Bar Louie's is pretty good and a cool environment.

10 seems legit. The questions now is how long would the cruise be or how long would you guys want it to be? We can take 10/Cantrell Rd West and pass Lake Maumelle then eventually intersects with hwy 324/9 into Ouachita State Park and go either north on 324 or south on 9 onto paron which turns into 12th st which then turn into Kanis rd which takes us back to town lmao! We can shorten it or we can go longer into NO MANS LAND aka Ouachita State park lol. I can care less. Just an idea. Maybe we can invite sportbikers if you know anyone with them. screw it invite who ever wants to tag along lol

Or we could also meet up at a car wash pre-cruise. Get our Z's all cleaned up. Take some pictures with what ever we got. Then eat and head out. Or just head out and eat some where along the way. **** it. Eat then head out and eat again sometime down the cruise hahah

I highly recommend Lake Ouachita State Park and surrounds. Fantastic scenery. Decent, if narrow, roads. Lots of twisting turns. Great for a nice cruise.

There are a lot of good roads to the West and Northwest of LR. Throw a dart near Fayetteville or Hot Springs and you'll find a nice road.

Edit: LOSP is a state park so it's not for speeding around and playing racecar. Still a great cruise. :)

There is an Arkansas Z car club, they have a website and putting an invite on their site in the chat area is an idea.

We need to get a date, time, and route decided on.

The closest time i would be able to go would be, June 29th. We obviously dont have to base this on my schedule just throwing it out there.

I was there too. It's a great bunch of people. My son and have been going since it began, but slacked off this year due to so much rain. Now the heat's here, but that's better than rain. :) I'm up in Conway, but commute to Little Rock daily.

I don't see why not lol. I don't know how many guys plan on bringing their wives but I don't think its prohibited

Cool, what type of bikes do You guys have

I ride a 2012 Busa. I haven't done much to it though. Stretched it 10", lowered it 1" and re flashed the ECU. I had an 08 Busa before that I modded heavily with a 10" stretch, NOS, Quick Shifter and an air ride, but decided to go a different direction with this one. It's not like it doesn't run good enough. :)

That's bad *** brother!!! We should ride some time!! I have a 2008 Hayabusa as well. Nothing too crazy as well. Lowered, power commander, stretched 6 inches, vortex levers, sportech windshield and bought a 530ek zzz chain. That's bout it. Here is a picture. I'm not making it tonight because I have to go with my wife to one of her work supervisors party. I really wanna make plans for Ride of the Century 2013 in St. Louis. Lands on September 1 monday memorial day. Heard of it? Here is a link to the cruise.

I've heard of the Ride of the Century. That would be an awesome trip. :) We should get together for a ride sometime. We could roll the bikes or the Z's. There are some really nice roads in Central Arkansas and I've ridden most of them. You're gone a love of here. :)
