Leblanc Z car show date is set!

Okay guys, Here it is May 19th. That is the prefered date for the show. I know it is only a month away, so I wanted to post the date as soon as I got.
In the past the show kicked off around 10 or 11 and ran through 3. I would assume the same for this year. For all newbies, Leblanc provides food, drink, door prizes and T shirts. No pre registration is needed, but if you shout out a "I will be there" I can make sure they will have enough food, drink, t shirts etc., There is a peoples choice car show, and awards will be given. So reserve the date as I think this is going to be big!!! If you have any questions feel free to hit me up. See ya'll on the 19th next month!

Pauly 04-18-2012 02:27 PM

Harold - Someone just mentioned to me that this is the same weekend as ZDAYZ... were you aware?

windex 04-19-2012 12:56 PM

Sorry folks I won't be making it.

cow 04-19-2012 12:57 PM

The LeBlanc show is fun, but you guys should come to Zdayz instead.

bucketman 04-19-2012 02:05 PM

Yes I know it's the same weekend as Zdayz, sorry. I've been to Zdayz a half dozen times it is great fun, but we let the date of Leblanc go unset for so long I was willing to take whatever I could. Next year we will have Leblanc set for April as we usually do. I don't think we will loose to many to Zdayz as there is never more than a handful from the gulf coast area(me being one of them)! Hated to do it but..... At least people can still go to the branson Z Fest if they want to!

Yep still plenty more Z'ers still in the area, no doubt.

Got in touch with both the Florida Z Club and the Houston & Dallas Z Clubs and advertised the event. See what turns up!

cow 04-19-2012 05:34 PM

I haven't been to Zdayz since 2009, so I'm quite looking forward to this year.

You guys enjoy the LeBlanc day. I wish I could make both.

Just go ahead and post it in the Texas thread. We need to just start posting our events in both threads.

A bunch of us from Dallas and Houston went to Nismo Fiesta hosted by the San Antonio Z Club this past weekend and had a blast! They have a cruise on the "Twin Sisters" that rivals The Tail of the Dragon.

There's a car show almost every weekend in Houston. Our Coffee and Cars meet on the first Saturday of the month has been drawing over 1,000 cars!

Hope to see some of you guys soon! :hello:

Already did I believe - You serious about the 1000 cars? Where in the heck did y'all park those babies? I'm assuming it was more than just Z's.. but still... ! LOL! ZATTACK was 102 Registered Z's, about 50 non-registered (showed up at the last minute / day of the show) then there was the other side of the parking lot with the "all kindsa Makes & Models" bunch, and there was about 40 or 50 of them.

Gonna PM the moderators for a new thread, or maybe just open one up not sure, where the entire gulf coast region (Florida thru Texas) can post the Z events happening in their backyards. This way, we can coordinate events amongst ourselves without stepping on other groups events, and we can schedule cruises to each others events in advance as well...

There is potential there... :eekdance:

cow 04-20-2012 08:32 AM

PM "Triple's" & he'll take care of you.

We take over Vintage Park shopping center until 10:00 am. The organizers said 1,200 showed-up in April! Here's a link to the official C&C site:

http://coffeeandcarshouston.com/

It's insane as to how popular it has become. Officially, it's from 8:00 am to 10:00 am, but most of us get there by 6:30 am in order to park as a group. We average 15 Z's parking with the group, with another five to ten stragglers that are forced to park where ever.

More Lamborghinis and Ferraris show up than are probably registered in Louisiana. There were two new Mclarens last month.

If you are ever in Houston for the first Saturday of the month, it is worth a look. Then there's Woodlands Cars and Coffee the first Sunday of the month................:happydance:

Ha.. 10-4 on that! I'd love to see that. My daughter lives in Houston, so it's not far fetched that you'd find me parking next to you at the mall at some time in the near future!
