Have to Thank Bucketman for stepping in at the beginning and at the end of the cruise to keep me straight. Seems I took a few wrong turns along the way (even when I was not behind the wheel.... chuckle..!!!)

Had a great time and can't wait to go back. It was nice meeting some fellow Z enthusiasts. :tiphat:


P.S. Next time we shouldn't invite that cop to join our caravan......lol.

It may not have been the tail of the dragon. It was the mouth of the gator, as it took a big azz bite out of my wheels.

From now on it shall be known as just that: The Mouth of the Gator Run...

Maybe next time do a dry slow and stop run on the gator. To clear all the big crap out of the road. Any vids to put up?? Even if you have to turn the sound down some.

LOL that cop scared the piss out of me... I came over that hump and was like ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Then I saw him pull out behind me and I was sure he was going to pull me over.

Thankfully... that wasn't the case.

Side note, I bought a beater daily little Civic! Time for me to get 35mpg again and have a parts hauler! w00t!

Where the hell was he? I didn't really see any side roads or anything. Did RedManNismo make it back ok? He was a few Z'z back, then type took his exit and i didn't see Red again...

Last I saw RedmanNISMO he was breaking off at the I-10/I-12 split towards Hammond on I-12. I think he enjoyed the cruise from what he was telling me. This was his real first outing with his Z as he just bought it a few weeks back (like 6 weeks I wanna say). He also told me the group in Missisippi never answered his posts or anything. He was glad he found us...

I think everyone had a great time, even with casualties (two of Kaien's fine rims and my windshield). On Baine's Rd, there were deer in the roadway and that got me slowing the heck down throughout all those blind corners. We had just been talking at lunch with Cory (RedmanNISMO) about his 350 and how it was totalled because of two cows in the road. I could just see all that in my head, except with my 370 involved... YIKES! So, yeah, I was all slowed down leading the pack on that last leg. Talk about slow, Bucketman was taking it REAL slow at that time as well. I lost him in my rearview a few times...LOL!!!

So, when's the next meet/cruise? This is adrenaline pumping - I can be addicted easy to this...:eekdance:

I had a blast guys! Too bad I had to miss out on waking up a cop.

I like how david is in the middle of the road with the cop behind him. LOL. I'll get my pictures up today I didn't wake up until 3PM sunday, ate, then right back to sleep.

I'll probably go, but I will definitely not be going to the "New Orleans" part, just the lakefront meet, eat and cruise. This is another chance for us to get together again! I enjoyed last time for sure.
