Meet in Memphis Saturday!!!

Hey everyone with a Z in Memphis let's meet up. Behind buffalo wild wings (cordova) on hwy 64 @ 9:00 Satuday night 11th sept... Reply if coming !!

Big J 09-10-2010 02:52 PM

Good idea, but can't make it this weekend.

Pheonix 09-11-2010 01:18 AM

Can't make it at 9. I assume 9pm...I'm working afternoon to midnight.

Side note: 370ZProject and I have been trying for awhile to get a meet...nobody seems interested but the two of us, so we've hung out a few times. Anyone else is more than welcome to come along. We've done Genghis Grill a few times, and a couple of other places.

370zproject 09-14-2010 03:19 PM

its in a good location for our Z's right?

Pheonix 09-14-2010 03:36 PM

Plenty of decent parking, even on a packed night. On a Tuesday night? I doubt there'll be issues. Relax, dude :p

Pheonix 09-14-2010 03:37 PM

His car is even cleaner than mine by virtue of it being newer, and since we both just got ours detailed out today...you think we want to take it to a place where they'll be vandalized? Nah...it'll be nice out, maybe we can get patio and then you can keep an eye on it :p

You asked about location. If you mean regionally, yes. It's in Cordova, just down the street from the Hastings where you and I met

370zproject 09-14-2010 11:41 PM

Removing hard-water spots can be difficult, especially if they dried on a hot surface. A chemical based paint cleaner may not remove the spots, but it's best to try the least aggressive option first. If the paint cleaner doesn't work, you'll need an abrasive polish. I use Meguiar's Ultimate Compound, it's a good OTC polish. It can be used safely by hand or machine. You could also try clay, but I doubt it'll remove the spots.

Just make sure you work on a cool surface and keep the polish wet to increase its work time...a little spritz of water is plenty (I use distilled water in a spray bottle). You may need a few applications. Hopefully, the spots will come out or at least be reduced significantly. Then, follow-up with your favorite wax or sealant.

Good luck!
