SoCal, I'm planning a Dragon run in May.

Family in Robbinsville, part of my childhood there too...many a trip along what is now called the Tail of the Dragon before it was called that. My mother resides in Maryville now, and I am thinking of purchasing a motorcycle to keep at her place to ride the Tail when I visit.

I only live like 1 1/2 hour drive from the Dragon. Let me know when you go and I'll meet you. I work half a day on Saturday and off Sunday.

There are several other places to go. The Blue ridge parkway is awesome.

There is a road called 321. But the blue ridgeis awesome. Get on and drive. Hundreds of miles of curvy mt. roads.
