So my friends dad gave him his old C6 corvette. The car is a salvage title but he needed a car and it's actual pretty nice... except for the paint.

So my friends dad gave him his old C6 corvette. The car is a salvage title but he needed a car and it's actual pretty nice... except for the paint. Because it's a salvage title he doesn't want to put too much money into it. He wants to plastidip but they won't sell gallons in Cali. I know a lot of people have plastidipped their cars (although I don't care for the look all the much) and was wondering how they did it. I heard you can thin out cans, but that seems sketchy. Any advise is appreciated

Dipyourcar.com. I just ordered a kit with a sprayer and 2 gallons with pearlized for about 350. Tell him not to use spray cans it will look like ****
PS this is for a Honda crx so I don't really care what the outcome is. I would never use plasti dip on the nissan |

dipped my franken-beater with cans, took about 6 cans total which totaled ~$40. looks like a$$, but at least my beater isnt a rolling rainbow anymore.
if your friend cares about the finish, but can't get the full kit, he may want to try the wider nozzle for the cans, i think home depot or ace hardware has it

But gallons from a place that dips cars. They'll fúck you on the price, but it's cheaper than cans
