Recommended shops for wheels + tires

First off i would like to thank DEpointfive0 for some of his suggestions but i am still open for options so any info would be appreciated.

Basically i am going to have my wheels mounted so i am looking for a shop preferably in the OC, LA county, Irvine area for both the tires and wheel installation.

Would be best if the shop can buy the tires as well so i wont have to carry both the wheels and tires around. :tiphat:

714 Tires

If you find better prices on tires somewhere else, bring in the ad and they'll work with you to give better pricing.

Wheel & Tire Connection - Home

I think the owners name is Dom and the shop is located in Lake Forest/El Toro

I get my re-11s form Cosco. They seemed to have the best price for those. As for mounting, it's up to you if you trust them to do it or just buy the tires there and take them somewhere else.

You are not the first person that suggested costco, the ONLY reason why i wanted to stay away from costco is because a couple of my friends had bad experience with costo when it comes to buying/mounting tires.

How are you liking the RE-11s? that is probably what i will be getting as well

I bought my last set of wheels and tires from Jeff and Garm at Micro-Image

Micro Image - parts and networking for small cars

I then took them to Renee at Allen Tire and they balanced, swapped my TPMS, and gave me an alignment

Allen Tire Company
20345 Hawthorne Blvd, Torrance, CA

They have been the only company that has ever touched my wheels. I personally would not go to Costco with aftermarket wheels, too many stories here and on other forums of problems

I always go to K&E tires(el monte) or tire central(san gabriel) they seem to have really good prices, and tire mounting isnt very expensive.

As for wheel mounting I always do that myself at home. I don't like impact guns going hard on my lug nuts and rims, always a risk of scratches and overtightening.

Taking about obstacles after obstacles.

I called all the listed shops above (thanks for the recommendations) and i am pretty much running into a brick wall.

Some of them could not find the tire size i want, some of them can only get the front but not the rears?

and anyone know a shop that can do rotors and calipers? as in changing the stock to aftermarket that sort of things?

I bought my AD08s from tire rack for a pretty good price. IIRC they were discounted, but as far as mounting goes the America's Tire shop I go to near my house, due to the lack of performance shops in the desert and my lack of motivation to drive down the 15 freeway, does a pretty professional job all around. I can't speak for their other locations other than the few I have been to, but always had good experiences. Also, tirerack delivers to the installers as well, so all you'd have to do is show up with your wheels.

Hope that helps.

Good luck man!

EDIT: I hovered over them every second they were mounting and balancing.
