Yes the car runs slightly richer then stock with short tails, but honestly, it doesnt require a tune.
Ive had the short tails on my car for over 50k and haven't had a tune. I also have never had an issue (knock on wood).
With the added midpipe, you wont need a tune either. The tune will simply make the car perform even better, within the AFR specs and limits, and increase the amount of horsepower you'll see from your mods.
Like i said before, AAM claims 22whp from S-tails and midpipe. With a tune, youll pull another 5-10whp out of it.
