Got in-to an Accident.

Yesterday on my way to work on the 405/101 some ******* *** hole looked away and hit me in stop and go traffic. :shakes head:

Car quarter panel is all ****** up.

My insurance called his insurance and guess what. He doesn't have insurance. He stopped paying for his insurance months ago....

My insurance agreed to cover the damages of $8000. This includes all the after market stuff, and even the carbon fiber diffuser that the body shop is purchasing from a sponsor on here.

The body shop will need to replace the floor in my trunk so they agreed to re-dynomat the entire trunk just like the way I had it.

I have a very good body shop that did work on my other sport cars. Car should be back on the road next Thursday. I'll keep you guys updated.

That sucks. Good thing you have a good body shop.

Wow!! Very sorry to hear, But by the angle of the pics? That rear quarter would need to be replaced also :(

Man that just sucks Monkey balls :shakes head:

Hopefully everything goes quick so your back on the road once again.

Ouch. Hope it comes back like new. Is $8,000 sufficient to cover your losses?

FairladyZ10PG 06-25-2013 07:16 PM

Sorry to hear. I was also involved in an accident by a fellow who stopped paying for insurance. My insurance co. ended up covering all damages to my truck. There seems to be so many bad drivers without insurance on the road I'm afraid to drive my z. Hope everything gets sorted out nicely.

That sucks man  In Texas it is absolutely critical to have uninsured motorist coverage. I would think the same of any southern border state. I've been hit more than once by someone with no license and no insurance. Good luck with your repairs man - hopefully you're back on the road soon :driving:

I propose stricter laws about driving without license and/or insurance. For example, immediate jail time.

Some people do not have respect when it comes to property and/or damages. Though, it's funny how people avoids my beat-up looking 240sx compared to when I had the Prius or Z.

Cool avatar Trips. :icon17:

Sorry to hear OP, don't settle for anything less than complete repair.

Wonka2581 06-25-2013 08:56 PM

Pics arent working..... Sorry to hear that.

axmea? 06-25-2013 11:26 PM

Too bad. At least no one got hurt. Most shops don't get the work done 100%. There's always something to find when you get it back so quadruple check their work.

List of everything that will need to be fixed -->

This really grinds my gears! I’m hearing more and more dirt bags driving around without insurance. You must be real worthless to not be able to afford liability only. What kind of car was this that hit you? ( Can’t see the pics from my work computer)

blackcherry20 06-27-2013 10:22 AM
