SoCal F.I. owners question

I had a question for those with F.I. in or near the SD county area or OC area about smog. Basically want to know how and where people are getting it done? PM me if you'd like to keep it off the thread. Thanks.

It's doubltful that anyone has had to deal with this yet since actual SMOG testing does not start until after a new vehicle is 6 years old from the original date of sale.

I believe it's 4 years from date of sale and then 2 years thereafter. That aside, it's very possible there are members who have had previous modified cars that are still connected. If you haven't been through the hassle yet, you will soon understand the pain if you're in this situation.

Nope, it's ON the 6th year and every 2 years thereafter

When you NEED that smog guy, shoot me a PM, he charges $200

You do not get smogged until after 6 yrs. unless you sell the car or there is a change in ownership and then it is every after year after the initial smog test. Hopefully those who modded and and sold can chime in. Also, some members with 350's can chime in too.
