Need updated So Cal Body Shops

Hello. I pulled this list from the sticky. Need your advise or any update on reputable shops that can test fit, paint match and install a body kit (TBA) in professional and well done finish. Your updates and feedback appreciated. One of the hardest colors to work with -- Pearl White. If you know of shops that can do a great job let me know. Thanks!

JC Auto House does not do paint! They do alignment, i been there for all my alignment so i know. DTM for after market parts or M1 for OEM.

Also for Pearl White, it doesnt matter where you go. it will not match. The color on FRP and metal will never be the same after say 6 months. That's is why i wrapped my car.

There's gotta be some shops that know what they're doing. I know they have to blend the bumper and skirts into the fenders and what not. Any QAB pro's out there?

DTM is really good with installing kits.

Although when i had my front bumper replaced due to crashing in the canyons the body shop i used was called Brotman Auto Body in L.A./Monterey Park on Atlantic blvd. The front bumper pearl white matched PERFECTLY to the fenders. I can't remember the paint they used but you should give them a call and get a quote. I'll try to post a pic of the match tonight if theres enough light but tomorrow i'll have a pic up for sure.

Here's pics of the work i had done at Brotman.

Because the color is Pearl, aftermarket bumpers will.not match. Yes it will maybe for half a year bit after that it will fade when u look at it at night. Search ard forum and I'll know was I'm talking anything. I have seen a few alert even one from Nissan itself.

Not trying to start anything here but your statement doesn't make any sense to me. Regardless of frp or aluminium you're still laying a catalized primer over the part before applying the two stage base coat. The only reason there would be a mismatch in color is if the painter screwed up somehow in the first place. In fact Nissan uses several different materials to construct their cars, it's not all aluminium. I think the fenders are fiberglass.

Yes qab is hard to match, not saying it won't be a little different but it's not going to fade like you're saying.

Why would aftermarket bumpers not match if you don't mind me asking? I've seen FRP, CF and ABS aftermarket bumpers that have been color matched by a professional painter. It ALL comes down to the choice of shop and paint as far as color matching. The work pictured above of my bumper was done over 6 months ago and I have yet to see a bit of fade,

Another option in the eagle rock/pasadena/glendale area is California Z Cars. This is a full blown bodyshop which warranties there work. Speak with Ronald whom is the manager :tiphat:

Contact Esteban@Auto Explosion in Gardena. They do show quality work. I highly recommend them and in fact, I'm getting my kit put on next month at his shop. Pearl white too! I've seen him do two pearl white Amuse kits and they've turned out perfect both times!

I highly recommend Quigleys Auto Body in Lake Forest for anyone in the South Orange County area. I've had my front bumper and NISMO bodykit worked on and installed there.

Man your RS1 fenders are sick! I'd be ecstatic if you made it with the Z side marker light on it or at least made a mounting point for it.

I would have no problems having Quigleys do the work
