Come to our 1st Holiday Meet and Cruise! Our last Ojai cruise was so well received, with many of you suggesting that we should do it again. Truth is, we didn't even scratch the surface of the beauty that Ojai has to offer, so it seemed a fitting place for our last meet and cruise of the year. We'll meet at the Deer Lodge for breakfast at 8:30am and roll out at 9:30am. The cruise will be roughly 3 hours long. Filll up before you show up and bring your Go Pros, walkies and Santa hats! Please RSVP so that we can let the restaurant know how big our group will be! Thanks and see you soon!

Get there early if you want to park in the middle of the action. Lots of cool cars at SCS. It would be great to get a Z presence there. We'll be packing up and rolling out at about 9:30am...so if you get there before that time you won't be able to park with the group at the meet. There's a great breakfast place there where you can get your grub on.

OP - July 31. Am I even allowed to do this? If not I'm sure it'll get taken off. But since I've seen lots of official this and that stuff to know that this one will probably pass muster.

So Cheech and I were talking tonight and both if us have had smiles since Sunday...I'd guess Amuse370 and his badass exhaust and 03Z33 aka BRsiZzle might say the same. And we decided we should have a Trek once a month. By Trek I mean an adventure...in this case one that involves driving.

Good timing might be two weeks and a day after the Cerritos meet if everyone's ok with it. That's Sunday, August 26.

We'll start planning for the next one now, and we're open to suggestions. 9:30 is a good time to start unless we need to meet earlier for some reason (like to get a good space in Santa Monica). We can decide month to month, but for now 9:30 seems to work.

We could do Ojai again and add to our group, or we can do something totally different. If you've never been and want to know what it's like check out my post in the 7/26 Ojai Canyon Run thread. Tracking the cars that are ready might be cool when it gets, er, cooler.

So if you like to drive and live in SoCal mark your calendars, because the SoCal Monthly Trek is ON. Stay tuned for more details.

Sounds great, count me in! I can suggest several routes all around the area:

1. Supercar Sunday followed by Mullholland/Malibu/Topanga
2. Cars & Coffee Followed by Santiago Canyon, Ortega
3. Angeles Crest to Wrightwood and back with some detours
4. Azusa Canyon/East Fork/GMR/Mt. Baldy
5. RTE 39 To Big Bear (this one would be good for October since the have a nice Oktoberfest in Lake Arrowhead)
6. 33 to Ojai down to 101 to Solvang (wine tasting) Can combine with 56 from the coast to Buttonwillow (long one!)

Been thinking about this some more and from what I've heard the Z/G meet is more of a G meet with some Z's thrown in. Hello Bruce, the route changes month to month to keep it interesting. 03Z33 and I are working on it. If you have any suggestions please PM us for consideration (goes for anyone else). We'll decide by Thu and will PM exact details only to those participating. We don't post the route nor meeting place publically for these runs. Let me know if you're in.

It'll be north of Huntington and south of Bakersfield. The guys that come for this are all in. Last time I left my place at 7:30am and got back 12 hours later. It was a good, good day.

I think you saw the caravan thread on the 350Z forum, but those guys are coming from a different direction than you. It's not that far for you, up 405 and a few exits over on the 101.. I know Cuban is going past you on his way up. Maybe PM him and see if you want to meet somewhere off the FWY.
