Moving to SoCal.
 

Sup folks...

I'm moving to Wildomar in less then two weeks from north carolina...and am really stoked about finally living on the west coast. First off let me mention that I am NOT in the military...I'm just moving to the west coast because I've always wanted to live in california and because I run a business from home. Hoping to meet some cool people and make some new friends along the way. Right now I drive a 09 montery blue 6 speed coupe. I also had an E30 that I was working on but not cost effective to ship it to cali so I'll be on the hunt for another track beater project.

Welcome, our weather is very similar to North Carolina so it should be an easy transition.

Wildomar is in between Orange County/Los Angeles & San Diego so you should able to attend events in either area.

There is also a Datsun Heritage museum not to far from you that you should definitely checkout once you get here.

EDIT: Just found out the museum closed :(

Since the museum is closed, you could check out Datsun/Nissan heritage at the Z-Car West Coast Nationals, 27-29 April 2012

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. I'm definitely looking foward to coming to some meets and events. I don't know how soon untill I'll be on a track...gotta hunt down a nice E30 shell when i get out there. Got alot of stuff to take care of once i get all settled in...and right now my main focus will be getting my home office set up and preparing myself to hire a few more people over the next few months.

Great. Always glad to welcome another so cal driver!!The so cal weather is good and the people are great...well most of the time until you get some truck civic guys trying to race you.

Well My flight for LAX leaves tomorrow....my car will be at my house on sunday...it's been on its way to cali since last week. Let me tell you that being stuck without my car for over a week has been driving me CRAZY. Been stuck cruising around in an 01 blazer so i have a feeling the Z will feel faster then usual the first couple times being back in it.

I just got to L.A. A couple days ago. Seem only 1 silver 370z last night with Fast Intentions so far. I hear the Z community is big here and see mostly 350z's but not that much 370z's. I never see any back in NY.

Yeah the flight was actually really smooth coming in. Finally getting everything unpacked and getting settled in. Ready to go take my car for a nice cruise since I haven't been able to drive it for the past week and a half.
