IDK how much extra flow the Typhoons give you, Nismos are tuned differently with slightly better exhaust than base- point is a pro can hear (lean) detonation without needing a to plug in so take it to one after the install. Seb will shoot you straight. He is local to FI.

x2, Seb immediately picked up on detonation as soon as he started my first base run on his dyno.

Thanks alot for all the feed back. Now what do you guys think is the probability of passing emission with HFC's? I understand the visual will not pass if the person knows anything about HFC's.

There is a 1.2% probability that you would pass with HFC's on your car. When are you going to try?

You'll definitely pass. If I passed emissions with my 1996 Saab 900 with a GT28 turbo, big injectors, a race cat and full 3" exhaust, and an aggressive tune, you can pass the sniffer easily.

Many new cars these days run so efficiently that some will pass without any cats at all.
