Default Gas gauge not showing full...

Hi there! I'm new here and I'm having a problem with 09 370Z's gas gauge not showing full. The "full" light will not light up except if the dealer does a sweep of the them. I've had the Z in AV Nissan 4 times now and still not resolved. It worked when I first bought the car and now doesn't. I appreciate any help! Thanks!

Thanks, Frost! But I've had to problem for a while now. Shutting it off doesn't do anything,... on restart the light still isn't lit. I've had the cluster R & R'd and still doesn't work. Just trying to figure out what I should do next, besides take it back to the dealer. Thanks again!

I'd be more concerned if it was the last two. You might have to just have them replace it again till they see if it's the gas sender thats getting stuck and not sending the signal to the gauge? But since it's a Warranty issue? Keep taking it till its resolved one way or another.

Going back to the dealer is the only choice. As you may have seen in the thread I posted, I had luck with the dealer replacing both fuel level sensors and seals

Change pump station. I get the missing fuel gage dot whenever I fill up at certain stations. Switch to another brand/gas station and do 2-3 cycles. Works for me. Let me know how it goes. Good luck.

I hope Nissan goes back to an analog gauge. I'll bet you guys didn't worry about it when your needle went past "F" or didn't quite line up with the mark.

I had analog guages where it just drop to E and then rise back up to F...and that was on my 240sx.

I also seen analog guages where it just fall off. The best darn electronic gas guage would either be the S2000 or 7th gen celica because they're pretty darn accurate and didn't hear any issues about them.

I had my sender unit replaced, problem solved. However, I wouldn't bother as it doesn't really cause a problem.
