I will let you know how it sounds once I get this exhaust leak checked out, Raf. I lost the hardware for the test pipes so we had to use different size bolts avaible at the shop to secure the tp but it's not tight as it should

Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised. The shop was very clean and organized. Matt showed me around the shop and talked about the project cars he's got going on. Very cool guy, loves to talk cars and know his way around Nissans. Matt brought in two of his crew to work on my car to speed things up. They managed to get all my suspension pieces and test pipes installed in just around 2.5 hours! The guys worked quickly and efficiently. The install went smooth without any hiccups, well...almost, but it was my damn fault, I had forgotten to bring the hardware for the test pipes but being stubborn, I didn't want to leave without the tp put on so I asked Matt to use any bolts he could find in the shop to temporarily attach them and I would come back another day with the proper size hardware, so as a result of that I've been driving around with a leaked tp surprisingly the car hadn't throwing any codes or CELs but I'll try to go back and get it all tightened up soon. I got my car aligned a few days later and the car drives perfect. No creaks or noise from the new springs. The Swifts are very comfortable to drive on, it absorb impacts much better than the stock springs I had. Handling is also greatly improved, the car definitely feel more planted. I was able to dial the rear alignment #s within specs, no problems there. The front cambers currently sit around -2.5 but that's all I can hope for until I get some front camber arms put in. Overall, it was a great experience. The guys at Street Faction Engineering did a fantastic job on my suspension and test pipes. I'm really glad I have found them, and I would recommend anyone around the area to check them out if you need custom fabrication or just looking to get some parts installed. You can get in touch with Matt directly via FaceBook or text him 562-507-1390 for any inquiries. Recommend Specialty Z in LA
So I called my mechanic at Specialty-Z in Chatsworth with an issue with my shifter for my 2014 Z as it vibrates and makes a God awful noise at 4200 RPM's. While they could have offered to resolve they suggested I contact the local dealer as the car is still under warranty; I paused and thanked them for making the suggestion as it could save me some money. I guess I did not think about the dealer since I generally do not want them touching my car but in this case, the mechanic was right on target.
Ok, how many mechanic do you know who would help you save money like that? I have lived in five states and owned over 30 vehicles and never had someone as helpful and honest as Specialty-Z |

I see this is a lowering thread;don't want to sound (stupid) but i haven't considered it till recently.
What is a conservative amount of drop-pending you want to stay with oem diameter tires & not overly aggressive offset's. 1", 1.5" ?? i I know i will be able to have adjustments of front camber & caster then. also i Drag-Race my car & don't want much(if any) rear camber. Suggestion's would be appreciated. Ty,joby

Perfect. Go to Socal Motorworks in Orange. Ask for Andy. He's open Saturday too (9-1pm), but appointment only.
