Had the state not shifted funds from the dot? There would have been plenty of money to make alternative freeways as well as completing the 710n to the 210 :mad:

Driving back from vegas was pretty bad, but I'm not 100% on if carmageddon caused it

yup.. i heard on NPR they were still deciding whether or not it'd be in July or August of next year..
I was loving the traffic on the 5 and the 10 on saturday though, since everyone stayed home, it took me 10 mins to get to LA!!
it usually takes me about 25-30 mins

exactly, traffic actually seemed better over the weekend.

Even traffic around the closed area of the 405 was very good. City streets included....

For the next closure, it probably won't be as good.

yup because people who stayed home will hear from others how the roads were clear and they wont stay home for next year
