we made it out there! it was raining, we sat inside a bit, then a "rescue mission" evolved because one of the 350Z cars in route spun out on the freeway, two of us went to the rescue, and the z was not damaged, nobody was hurt. Just a scary situation and a $100 tow pull out of the brush was required. all in all, we cruised after, and thanks for those who made it.
