I read a thread about a member who was seeing close to 270 just from cruising at 75mph. If you run the A/C, that will help temps as the secondary fan activites.

shouldnt be no problems at all. Just dont blast the ac in traffic

Actually A/C will bring your temp down 10-15 degrees due to 2nd fan kicking in ( or much faster fan speed). So, Keep the A/C on! (chances are you'll do it anyway since it's HOT out there).

Having the A/C on usually increases oil and/or coolant temperature due to the added load and condenser core heat soak, subsequently radiator and engine bay heat soak... I'm interested to see the data to back up your 10-15 degree decrease claim :tiphat:

Usually the fact that either of the fans are running is negligible at highway speed unless they flow some SERIOUS air.
