I'm up for a canyon run...Lol how spirited do you guys get though?
It's my first rear wheel I just don't want to get too spirited YET.
I'm going to take her to the track when she's broken in though.

I am good either Saturday or Sunday, if I don't golf. The Morning time is probably the best.

I am also a beginner to RWD cars, same with manual transmissions too. I don't think we will be pushing ourselves to the max since the roads are pretty dangerous considering cops and other enthusiastic drivers who have less than ideal road manners.

I am thinking about saturday mornings now, it is the best of both worlds because there will be less traffic and will leave the rest of the day open.

Hey, the more ideas the better! I will look at some maps to figure some rough routes that we could take. It would be nice to make a different drive each time for variety's sake.

I just got back from the RUN with G37 group. It was a good run for a Sunday morning. I am looking forward to the RUN with all the SoCal Z's.

That was pretty awesome. Was my first time going to an event. Can't wait for the next one.

Let's go! lol...I'll be ready after next week.
I'm getting some aftermarkets done this saturday but after that I'm ok whenever.

It was nice meeting you :tup:. Stop by the Cerritos meet sometimes if you can make the drive.

Thanks G. You should have come. The oil cooler is holding well. I drove mostly in 2nd and 3rd gear through the canyon. Need to drive this baby more....:driving:

Yea, I had a night of heavy drinking and woke up late. :(

I really liked the drop you got compared to stock. I'd be scared to drive around so low though, haha.

And I'll see what I can do, been a bit busy, but I'll try and work something out to make it to one of those meets eventually.

Also, after talking to you about the oil temps, I decided to pull 2nd-3rd gear all the way back through the canyon.
My oil temp shot up. I got to about 255 max. It wouldn't push past that though, I still want an oil cooler because I'd rather not run so hot.

Anyway, was great meeting both Z and G drivers. Great people to hang with.

I took a video of the run coming back, when I get back home, I'll edit it and post the raw and edited footage.
