No need to ground him if he brings home a bad report card, just make him sit next to you in the canyons. :icon17:

His shots can be pretty tight. Super high res, full on retouching, and if I remember correctly he gives you a couple of different crops (each retouched differently). BUT, I would only order one if the shot looks really sweet. They cost too much just for a random shot. Lots of people go up and down the snake 3 or four times so he can get several shots of them, then choose one to buy.

I ended up not paying the amount those photos cost, we will be back in the future anyway! I ordered my Stillen 25 row oil cooler the other day so I will never have to worry about high oil temps again, that will be a relief knowing the car can take whatever my still developing RWD skills can throw at it.

Someone just told me about this route. Let me know what you guys think. He was saying there's a nice short stretch of one way road also on tuna canyon road.

Las Flores Canyon Rd to Tuna Canyon Rd - Google Maps

I like going up piuma then down tuna. Don't really do las flores and not a fan of stunt.

stunt?

Las Flores going up is a fun road. However, Tuna has been closed for a while. Detour signs were still up on our last run (I passed the entrance at the top in my efforts to get around the "fire"). Tuna is a blast, but you have to go pretty slow, those turns are crazy tight, but is still really fun. I mean, one way for the majority of the run!!!

10-3-10 edit

I stand corrected. I was out there on the moto this morning and saw a few bikes coming down tuna. I think tuna might just be open afterall.

Small bump for next week:

Are you guys all down to meet next saturday for another meet and canyon drive? I got Seb at SpecialtyZ to commit and bring his newly TT'ed PW 370z so that might be a bit of incentive for people to come check that out.

I am going to say that we will meet at Malibu Country Mart at 7:30am and will leave by 8am sharp. I will have some routes planned in advance which we can decide on once we meet depending on preference.
