Miramar speed circuit july 11th
 

hey guys. a lot of you saw my k1 speed video on youtube. if not ill post it below. im trying to gauge interest on setting up an event for us forum members at miramar speed circuit (gokarts) july 11th (sunday) around noonish, (times may change). i had a lo tof fun at k1 and wanted to try the mirimar track. if we can get 10 or more people we can get a group discount. we wanted to plan on doing a sprint race, which is a 5 minute qualifier and a 10 minute position race which is $30 per person. there maybe prizes to the winners of the race if enough people go. i need to make reservations asap so sign up now and let me know who is going.

I don't see why I shouldn't be able to go! I will keep my status updated as June and July are busy months for me.

This sounds like fun... June and July are also busy months for me.. so I have to keep a ear out to find out...

But we can also do a 2nd Wed of each month Miramar meet because a z32 club meets out there i beleive but I have to get a confirmation from a friend. They meet every 2nd WED of each month.

Rudy if we cannot get something this day for enough people... I just spoke to Charles over at POwer trix and they do a monthly meet at Miramar for Z32 guys... it will be plenty of heads for a discount and to meet some cool peeps.

I hear there are some subie and mitsu powners out there that say they can run circles around the Nissan owners out there ....Im sure a few of you may have something to say about that one ......

if the set date doesnt work out then we will talk about going with the z32 guys

as far as k1 speed, the miramar circuit looked a lot better and more even. i wanted to try the miramar circuit. ive been going to k1 speed and there karts are all over the map

Cool, very true with the K1 speed karts.. they are not at balanced. I gotten many dud's (slow) and some very very quick ones.

Live, when will we know if the 11th will or will not work out so we can start a list for the 14th...?

Time is flexible.... I would say between 12:00 and 2:00 PM would be nice.

Nice meeting everyone yesterday.... There is another miramar speed thing like Scott was saying on Wed if anyone would like to go... I have a scheduling conflict so we will do this again soon.

Glad meeting those of you who showed up, nice, cool, fun group we had there. Hopefully we will all meet up again soon..... Maybe we will put on a shop BBQ before Summer is over or something

is anyone elses back bruised? my back a 5 bruises and looks like a huge happy face on my back. still had a lot of fun and it was nice meeting and seeing everyone. lets do this again next month!

i got a little good video, but most of the video was of the back of scott's helmet. the accident between me and my fiance was kinda cool though. im going to mount the camer on the kart next time and then i should have enough to make a little video
