Stillen, Injen, Nismo ppl, Give me a ride!!
Sup fellas,
I'm in the market for either an intake or an exhaust, but not both at the moment. I've had the FI exhaust already but sold it because my clients could not tolerate the 2-3k drone. I'm hearing that the Stillen exhaust has ZERO drone and that is good news to me. I'm also interested in the Nismo exhaust. Altho it yields close to no gains, I may want it for the sound factor. I've never heard the Stillen or the Nismo in person. Another route I'm thinking is a CAI. I'm only interested in the Injen CAI and i've never heard that in person as well. The mistake i made with purchasing the FI exhaust was that I never got to listen to it in person. The vid clips of people claiming zero drone coupled to the aggressive looks had me sold and i took a hit selling it 3 days after getting it installed. If anyone with any of the above equipment can let me in on a test ride, I'd greatly appreciate it. I know a lot of you have combinations of bolt ons and that is perfectly fine. I want to listen to as many cars as I am offered so please let me know if you're down to do this. I'll drive to you and you can take me for a spin. Thanks in advance! I'm in Downtown LA, but am willing to drive to wherever. Tim |

sup dean....yeah i heard it but we didn't really cruise under load to generate the drone that can be created by the exhaust. I meant i didn't listen to it under more driving conditions than we did. I just bought the nismo exhaust so we'll see. I have a feeling the nismo + cai + hfc will be a money combo.
