May 1st. Julian/Palomar Run

It was mentioned before in the GTG thread about doing a Run on 5/1/10 up Palomar to julian.

For those in SD,

Meet @ 7am at the Starbucks at the SD marketplace (by Home Depot and Albertson's on Mira Mesa blvd)

Leave for the meet spot off 76 & I-15 at 7:25-7:30.

We will meet at the the Chevron on 76.

Leaving for the mountain between 8:15-8:30 at the latest.

make sure you fill up with enough gas in advance. Plan for enough gas to get you at least 200 miles. Even though its only a little over 110 miles, we have spots that we push it and MPGs go bye bye.

Slower cars/slower drivers please stay to the rear of the pack.

No thanks.... LOL I do enough REAL racing as it is, I personally don't really feel like watching cars go in a straight line for a few hours.

Especially sports cars like these that were not made for that.

But to each their own.
