for those who are pros any recomendations on guns/equipment to buy?

i want one of these: Kingman Training - Eraser 11mm Paintball Marker

try out the tippmann X7...its BAD@$$...

gun wise just rent if you're just going for the first time. invest in one later if you get into it, even if a little. protective gear is where it counts at all levels. get a good mask and knee pads. not sure what's out there on the market anymore; i havent been in the loop for over 2 years. played competitively for 4 yrs.

You should really try it out and see if you're into it before dropping a bunch of money on equipment. Rent the marker/mask your first few times going. The Hybrid Shocker is a really nice marker. :postwhore:

just trying to get into a new sport....there is no doubt in my head im going to enjoy it so i didnt mind putting down the $$

i have a few friends that are really into it so they are dropping all there paintball knowledge to me lol

My friends and I used to paintball. But if you think about it, every time you go, it costs around $100 haha. Now we just rock climb because it's a LOT cheaper. :tup:

yeah depending on budget for the month im planning to go twice a month
our overall plan is to start a team and join tourneys :D

we are looking for someone really dedicated and can at least play/practice once a month(twice if theres tourneys):D
preferably in the SFV unless you are willing to drive

we are also tryin to get sponsorships to get gears for lower price or free
