Rain!
Any of you affected by the heavy rains lately? Couple of my friends and their families had to be evacuated from their homes in the La Crescenta/La Canada region.
As for me, I'm busy countering hydroplanes at the 110(true story) and dodging pools of water in Los Angeles. :ughdance: |
All safe Here! in SFS
|
The other day at work the rain washed out the road, which was our only way off the part of the mountain we were on. So we had to pile into another G ride and go back to the station lol I wonder if anyone vandalized the gov's while I was on my days off. Will find out tomorrow!

F**K...my school was flooded in many spots...and i dont know if its because of the cold but when i came to my car my low pressure light was on for my tires( triple's you have this problem today?)- looked at them and they looked alright so i drove home and they looked cool when i got home...this weather sucks.{good side- my engine oil temp didnt got above 190 the whole ride to and from school}

All I know is my car is FINALLY done and too flooded over here to drive it. Should of built a damn boat and not a Tuner Car.... Enough water already, I need some SUN
|

no tennis since last sunday morning. bummer.
|
-tennis.... what about GOLF?
|
Thanks Rogue!
I'm in for another meet as soon as it comes up. Go to that Fontana thing at the end of this month. If not for the track at least to hang for a bit. I'm going to try and hit that one. |
Same down here! It's been a w-e-i-r-d "winter" at Puerto Rico. Warm and rainy December and January. More than ½ a dozen heat records have been busted since early December. Incongruous weather for this season! Greetings, guys!
|
All good in SD. To make the best of this rain, I tested how well the VDC works...and it works pretty well! You can barely feel the VDC working, and it doesn't limp it too much.
Drive safe all, you don't want to end up in the plethora of pics in "guess that mangled car thread". |
Moto, what stuff did you do to your car since Fontana meet?
On Topic: been sitting at home not going out due to rain :P |

Mod's to my car? Oh I don't know...nothing big.
I think we put a new bumper sticker on the back, maybe some valve stem caps...nothing major :icon17: |

If you guys are familar with Telegraph Canyon Road>Otay Lakes Road which connects to SR94 in East Lake SD. Well there is a big dip by thousand trails camp site and this astro van got stuck in it. Almost 4 feet of water! It was the funniest thing I have ever seen. I wish they were illegal aliens, that woulda been even better. I woulda taken pics but apparently thats unprofessional. We were almost forced to pull a double because the oncomming shift couldn't even drive out to the field and we drive anywhere from lifted jeep wranglers to lifted chevy 3500's!! In Hemet they were more prepared for these heavy storms unlike San Diego.

You have to take pictures. That's the great thing about the internet, you get to make an a$$ of yourself in front of millions when people snap a pic.
Damn it Lou! You told me 30HP for that plate frame  |
Just got home and its POURING! Wholly crap. I should of spent my $ on an Ark and not the car. Drought...my a$$:shakes head:

some people don't understand that they have to slow down when it is pouring. |
I'll be the first to admit CA has some of the worst drivers anywhere! Some don't even bother looking around, they just change lanes, rarely look around, etc etc. Its no wonder our Fwy's are always a mess.
Why people can't fathom the principal of merging is beyond me...drives me crazy! |

i got into the car and realized that i couldn't see well in the front because of the long hood, i couldn't see well in the back because the wing covered up most of the viewing area, and the side views were limited as well. a couple weeks later, i got used to the change :) |
It's pouring and dark out side! Incredible, I thought it would have cleared up by now!

Saw these pictures posted up on my Civic website.
Kind of scary if you ask me. Luckily my Z is safely parked on the 5th floor of a parking structure. I walk to school because my campus is too flooded to safely drive my Z. Socal Storm Aftermath - 8th Generation Honda Civic Forum |
I'm going to take my Rover down there and it sink, maybe insurance will buy me another Z instead :)
Just drove my Nismo to the shop for the paint touchups, even with the rain it was a damn blast! I can't wait until all this tweaking is done so I can put some damn miles on the clock |

I've honestly never seen the weather as bad as it has been this past week. |
The guys on the East Coast are laughing their :icon23:'s off at us. They deal with this weather all the time.
We're all spoiled. Still sucks though:shakes head: |
yea Adam,
They can laugh for a little while, since it's sunny here 80 percent of the time!!!! |
