If you guys are familar with Telegraph Canyon Road>Otay Lakes Road which connects to SR94 in East Lake SD. Well there is a big dip by thousand trails camp site and this astro van got stuck in it. Almost 4 feet of water! It was the funniest thing I have ever seen. I wish they were illegal aliens, that woulda been even better. I woulda taken pics but apparently thats unprofessional. We were almost forced to pull a double because the oncomming shift couldn't even drive out to the field and we drive anywhere from lifted jeep wranglers to lifted chevy 3500's!! In Hemet they were more prepared for these heavy storms unlike San Diego.

You have to take pictures. That's the great thing about the internet, you get to make an a$$ of yourself in front of millions when people snap a pic.

Damn it Lou! You told me 30HP for that plate frame

on the way to work i saw a totaled black car. It was upside down and still smoking. it was so badly damage that i could not make out what make it was.
some people don't understand that they have to slow down when it is pouring.

I'll be the first to admit CA has some of the worst drivers anywhere! Some don't even bother looking around, they just change lanes, rarely look around, etc etc. Its no wonder our Fwy's are always a mess.

Why people can't fathom the principal of merging is beyond me...drives me crazy!

haha. this reminds me of the first time i drove the nismo home (i bought the car without test driving it first). my previous car was a mb c320 so the outward vision was very good.

i got into the car and realized that i couldn't see well in the front because of the long hood, i couldn't see well in the back because the wing covered up most of the viewing area, and the side views were limited as well.

a couple weeks later, i got used to the change :)

It's pouring and dark out side! Incredible, I thought it would have cleared up by now!

Saw these pictures posted up on my Civic website.

Kind of scary if you ask me. Luckily my Z is safely parked on the 5th floor of a parking structure. I walk to school because my campus is too flooded to safely drive my Z.

I'm going to take my Rover down there and it sink, maybe insurance will buy me another Z instead :)

Just drove my Nismo to the shop for the paint touchups, even with the rain it was a damn blast! I can't wait until all this tweaking is done so I can put some damn miles on the clock

Zomg, I haven't seen anything near that bad. Worst I've seen so far is maybe a foot of water collected on the side of the road.

On Tuesday, my friend and I were walking on campus at UC Riverside. We tried jumping over a stream of water that ended up being a foot and a half deep. Yeah. Learned that the hard way. :shakes head: Cars that were driving by made waves that were over three feet tall. There were floods all over campus, which is why I ended up walking to school instead of driving.

I've honestly never seen the weather as bad as it has been this past week.
