Transmission shops in socal
 

Hey everyone, so after a couple of hours of searching through threads for transmission shops in los angeles socal area i have came up with only 2 trusted shops to replace a possibly failed CSC and CMC. So far :

Specialty Z in chatsworth and Socal Motorworks in orange


Looking to see if anyone else recommends a shop that can tear the tranny down and install an upgraded parts. thanks!

Are you asking about opening the actual transmission or are you asking about just replacing the CMC? Lots of places can do the CMC, that's just R&R. There's even a DIY thread for it.

its more to replace the CSC, i got fluid leaking out of the transmission and a dead clutch pedal

Specialty Z is always the place to go but if there a little far for you, there's a place called MSR performance in Corona. They work on Z's.

Don't forget Precision Z in Canoga Park. Their pricing is competitive too. I take mine to either PZ or SZ depending on the work.

If you're near the south bay area, Alex at L Spec in Torrance is great.
