I have two contact numbers for 2 cell phones that are now turned off/disconnected.

primary: 909-730-7585
909-684-6902

I want to file a police report, does anyone know the steps in doing so? I will be receiving the bad check in the mail soon and will have further details when i get back.

If anyone has any advise please let me know! Sucks when you try to help ppl out you cant trust anyone..

I always hate to hear of these types of issues. I recently bought some wheels from a great guy on the forum with no snags. I sent him a certified check overnight, he deposited the check and waited for it to clear and then shipped the wheels. Trust and honesty are harder to find traits in people "now days", sure is great when things work.

And it separates right away the scams from the honest folks as the scammer won't consider doing a COD deal and says "NO" immediately.

I have been doing it since 1997 and never got scammed.

:iagree: a little late for Djcuetip but a valuable lesson learned

The reason why is cause when I found out it bounced and posted this, when i try to reach the fontana police it says they are closed for the holidays

OK just found some interesting information..

Sooo.. the primary phone number called me today I picked it up expecting to be him.. but it was someone else.. by the name of Peter.. he told me the guy ripped him off too.. he said he tracked him down to his house and he took off running but he got his cell phone and called me through it after he saw the messages in them. I don't know if its all clear or not but I will be on the phone with him in 30 minutes to see exactly whatsup

LOL NO.

alot of smaller departments just close down the front desk, which is generally simple reports and questions. anything THAT important, goes through dispatch. the patrol cars are still out there:rofl2:
